Your illness may be invisible… But you are not.

Chronic illness can be an isolating and invisible experience. The Cherish Society exists to change that. One story witnessed, one moment of joy shared, one small act of kindness at a time. You don’t have to carry this alone.

About The Cherish Society

We are a community-centered kindness movement for people living with chronic and invisible illness, plus the loved ones who support them. Together, we share acts of kindness, stories, and practices that make tenderness tangible.

This is also a space where your story gets to be heard, because the experiences of chronically ill people deserve to be witnessed, celebrated, and turned into something that helps others feel less alone.

Ways We Show Up For You

Every month we open the floor to our community — sharing stories, small joys, hard-won wisdom, and the kind of honest advice that only comes from someone who has actually lived it. Selected contributions are featured on our website and will become part of our community book project, a free resource written by chronically ill people for chronically ill people. Because your words deserve to outlast a social media post.

This community runs on connection, not perfection, and there is always a place here for exactly where you are today.
